This is a maternity leave coverage position. There is a strong possibility of this going perm.
This position reports directly to the customer service manager. Ideal candidate will posses a minimum of 2 yrs experience in either returns (RMA), purchasing and/or order entry processing along with extensive customer contact. The individual must have the ability to work independently, determine priorities and promptly respond to and resolve customer issues. Required skills will include experience in Oracle 11i or a similar ERP system, Microsoft Office. A background in warehouse, hardware equipment processing, shipping and receiving would be helpful.
Minimum 1-2 yrs. customer service, purchasing or returns processing of equipment preferably in a telecommunications environment.
Experienced working in a warehouse and distribution environment
Must have excellent communication and phone skills.
Experienced with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) etc.
Experience with Oracle ERP or similar a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Issuing RMAs (Return Material Authorization) for credit, warranty or non-warranty repairs on a timely basis.
Process customer purchase orders
Expedite and follow-up with parent company related to pending RMAs and open orders
Follow up to insure customer satisfaction and resolution of any discrepancies or open issues.
Perform credit card transactions.
Communicate via all media i.e email, fax, phone etc.
Independently work to resolve problems, improve processes and initiate appropriate corrective action. Maintain records electronically.
