Midwest Territory Manager

Location: Midwest Territory (Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, & Michigan)

This is a direct hire, fully remote position with 50%+ travel required (2 weeks on the road, 2 weeks at home each month). Candidates should live within the assigned territory, ideally centrally located (Illinois or Kentucky).

Pay: $75,000-$82,000 base + 2% commission (OTE $118,000 minimum)

About The Role
We are seeking a Midwest Territory Manager with 3+ years of experience in construction equipment, attachments, heavy equipment sales, or a related industry. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, dealer development, and customer engagement across the assigned territory, with a strong focus on securing new dealers while maintaining existing relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with dealers, contractors, municipalities, and rental companies
  • Promote the full product portfolio through demonstrations, presentations, and customer visits
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective dealers
  • Support dealer sales teams through product training, ride-alongs, and technical guidance
  • Assist dealers with quoting, product selection, and application recommendations
  • Manage assigned territory travel schedule efficiently to maximize customer engagement
  • Maintain CRM records, sales activity reports, and opportunity tracking
  • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of products and excavator attachment applications
  • Collaborate with internal support, marketing, production, and leadership teams
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in construction equipment, attachments, heavy equipment sales, or related industry
  • Strong understanding of excavators, hydraulics, and construction equipment applications
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain customer and dealer relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Must live within the assigned territory
